This risograph print features three vibrant flying geese shapes popping through a floral motif transcribed from the print of an antique fabric (shown in the final image). A glimpse of a life we’ll never know transported through the decades. Someone probably wore a dress in this print. She maybe got sad news, or fell in love, or did something that made her feel so proud of herself. And then someone (maybe the same person) stitched it into a quilt that made it all the way to me so many years later.

This print is 8” x 10”, three-color risograph print. The bright color glows on the paper. Designed in Pennsylvania, printed by Oddities Prints in Kansas City.
