This showstopper is dedicated to anyone in this world who was made to feel like they should conform in some way. While I was planning and making this quilt, I heard so many people tell me that they were “told” that pink and red don’t go together, but confessed that they really love the combination anyway. Who made those rules and tricked us into believing there’s rules about what you should like? That’s nonsense. Yes, they do go together and yes, they do look amazing. Like you. Be everything you are and don’t let anyone tell you it’s not right.

Floating over an oversized traditional star block is a circle of my signature hand-stitches. Three concentric circles, all entirely by hand.

All of my handmade quilts are made with cotton materials - fabric, batting, thread and the hand-screen-printed tag applied to the back. It’s important to me that my quilts are fully machine washable and can be tumble-dried - quilts should be used and loved and suitable for everyday use. After the first wash, your quilt will crinkle and achieve that delicious quilt crinkle.
