Sister's Choice is another of my favorite traditional quilt blocks - as a quilter, I'm endlessly fascinated by the names of block patterns and can't help but wonder how they came by their titles. Sister's Choice seems like a surprisingly pointed title for a women's craft of the past -- and it definitely feels appropriately pointed today as well. Mine is a bold, bright pink, filled with a modern geometric pattern.
